Website Publishing

To "publish" your Personal Homepage on ZDial:

• First you must request to have your Directory opened and space alotted. Your Directory is where your site will be kept and will be in the form http://members.zdial.com/~username .   To request your Directory send e-mail to create_url@zdial.com . Please include your username and a password for FTP Purposes in the request.
• When creating your site you may use any HTML editor available. Some popular ones are Microsoft FrontPage, HoTMetaL Pro and Adobe PageMill   Our server supports FrontPage server extentions. Make sure you name your homepage (the first page) default.htm.
• In order to send your Personal Homepage to our server, you will need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. We recommend WS_FTPLE (click here to download this easy to use program).
• Using the FTP program, connect to our server using the following settings:

• The FTP program will automatically put you into your own directory. Then you just send your files from your computer to our servers.

IMPORTANT!  Send an e-mail to addme@zdial.com to have your homepage listed in our Members Gallery!   The site will be listed alphabetically by its "name", and you can even give us a brief description if you want (15 word max).   If you don't provide us with the sites "name", we will list it using your "username".
